Closing of the Bones or Cerrada Ceremonies are a traditional postpartum ceremony in South America with the intention of honoring the birth giver, offering them healing and blessings to help their mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. It’s a beautiful honoring of their pregnancy and birthing journey and offers them a chance to fortify their spirit and be witnessed and held. Again we work with our benevolent loving helping spirits, well ancestors, spirit of the plants and elements of nature and tune into their guidance.

It is important for me to note that this ceremony is also offered post-miscarriage, post-pregnancy release, and post-trauma.
