From Earth to Home: Mentorship with the land & plants April - July
The plants are inviting us to gather through the seasons, to witness their growth, tend to them, and our community. Join us in this 4 month container to attune to the pace of the Earth. We will make offerings, tend to the land, meet plants through the seasons and create wild foods & medicines together.
This offering is for anyone feeling called to reconnect with the Earth; from advanced herbalists to those just beginning on their earth-centered path. As we move at the pace of the seasons there isn’t a set curriculum, only a deep listening and attunement to the Earth. Each class we will center on 1-2 plants through meditation, journeying, connecting with our senses and getting to know them deeply. Some plants we will visit many times during the container, others move more quickly from sprout to seed. Some we will cook, bake, create with and others we primarily pray or visit with. We listen and we move at their pace & invitation.
We will gather 2x a month for 2hrs at a time first gathering is 2.5hrs for a special land blessing and receiving permission of the land). The first class is essential to build the container, and from there you’re welcome to drop in to other classes as you can or join the full container.
We will meet at a few main locations to visit with a breadth of plant allies (Lyons, Longmont, Boulder & Niwot) with Lyons being our “home base”. By joining our whatsapp group you will be looped in for locations, changes and reminders (like wearing closed toe shoes when visiting nettles). Depending on how the series flows we can revisit continuing into the Fall.
Class drop-in cost: $40-70 self selecting sliding scale (includes materials & snacks)
Container cost: $500-700 sliding scale(includes 2 one-on-one mentorship calls & custom herbal medicines)
How the sliding scale works - offering on the higher end when you feel abundant & to support those that may need to pay less or need partial scholarships, offering on the lower end if that’s what is more realistic to you.
